Has anyone actually been banned after a full factory reset? (read the FAQ, looking for data)
Hi! I'm really excited to jailbreak now with Y2JB's new release :)
But before doing so, I wanted to verify that there really is no way back afterwards
I read the warning on the FAQ stating "Assume accessing PSN after jailbreak will result in system ban. Even after a "clean" system wipe... you should assume you will not delete all traces."
I understand that this is smart and standard advice from the wiki's maintainers, though, I was curious if anyone actually tested this? If I later on do a complete wipe, rebuild the database and reinstall the latest system firmware from safe mode, are there any known permanent hardware flags left behind? (For example, logs from running BD-UN-JB's drive unpatch) that Sony detects?
Or has anyone has successfully managed to revert a jailbroken console back to official firmware and played on PSN without receiving a ban?
