Hey Fellow Drummers,
I recently got my first drumkit ever (Roland TD07-DMK) after some research and testing and am very stoked to be honest.
The main thing I'm a bit disappointed about is the hi-hat controller, as for me it differs the most from an acoustic kit which I normally use during lessons.
Now online I see both the more "realistic" hi hats with normal hi hat stands, or more expensive hi hat controllers like the FD-9.
My questions sre:
How big is the difference between the FD-1 and FD-9?
Is a hi hat controller sufficient, or should I invest in something like a VH-10? (Or other recommendation?)
Will the controlling ever feel close to an acoustic drum, or do I maybe have to accept it will never have the exact same sensibility as acoustic?
Hopefully someone can help me out, Im still quite new to edrums and will gladly take advice :)
I use pPlex via the app on Chromecast, but very often I will get the error "Unable to play media".

The weird thing is, the media starts playing in the background half a second later, with sound and everything. When I try to close the error popup, however, I get pushed back to the menu.

The error occurs at different times, and doesn't occur when I play the video on my phone (but does when I stream it to the Chromecast app).

The workaround is retrying until the error doesn't appear, which can sometimes take a frustratingly long time or not happen at all.

I couldn't find similar issues whilst googling and was curious whether anyone has encountered this / knows a more permanent fix.

I tried:
Cleaning cache of both ChromeCast and Plex App
Reinstalling Plex app
Updating ChromeCast
Messing with transcoder options
