Alia Bhatt at Cannes: Global Platforms Need More Than Just a Famous Face

Honestly, I feel like Cannes isn’t a platform where someone should be “learning” how to handle interviews or public presence. It’s one of the biggest international stages, and opportunities like this are given to only a few people. Excuses like being shy, introverted, or starstruck don’t really justify a weak media presence there.

Even actors like Tara Sutaria and influencers like Rida Tharanna had better command over their speech, carried themselves confidently, and gave graceful interviews. That clearly shows that confidence and communication are not about how famous you are, but about preparation and personality.

At global events like Cannes, appearance alone is not enough. The way you speak, answer questions, and present yourself matters equally because you are not just representing yourself, but also your industry and your country on an international level.

That’s why I personally feel people attending such platforms should have a stronger personality, better communication skills, and the confidence to represent Indian cinema properly in front of a global audience.

Corruption in the name of Content Creation

Instagram has uplifted content creators like nothing else, but we all know how the system often works. Many influencers are given expensive products by brands and are paid to say whatever helps sell them. Some even make false claims just to promote a product to their audience.

Doesn’t that feel like glorified corruption? Paisa deke kuch bhi karwana? Even fake product reviews?

What’s your opinion on this?
