Don't Go To Pueblo is a small, grassroots music festival born from the guts of Colorado's most misunderstood city. We are more of a warning than a tourism campaign - a warning that if you come to Pueblo, you may just have your expectations shattered. Outsiders would have you believe that Pueblo is a black hole of crime and poverty. If you ask Google, we are the "Worst City in Colorado." We are here to tell you not to believe the hype. Pueblo has a vibrant history of community, resiliency, and creativity. This city has survived it all, and its art reflects that. Our counterculture has been shaped by generations of working-class musicians, artists, peacekeepers, and troubleseekers. Don't Go To Pueblo is our proof — two days of DIY Punk, Metal, and Alternative music by the people who make this city what it is. Come see what happens when a city stops defending itself and embraces what makes it special.
Don't Go To Pueblo is 100% local: local music, local businesses, local vendors, local art. All proceeds from ticket sales goes back into the community via direct support to CASA of Pueblo, SafeSide Recovery, and El Pueblo History Museum. This is an opportunity to give back to the city that shaped us.
