Been playing this game on and off since year 2016, due to recent updates on utilities and services I am planning to permanently stop playing, is it still worth it to patiently upgrades the utilities and services?

Playing this game since 2016, planning to delete the game sooner because of the updates on utilities and services.
Do majority on this sub still playing? And what are your thoughts? Is it still worth it to patiently upgrade?
