"It's not that deep"

I am so sick of coming across people who tell me "it's not that deep". This could be about Anything. Me analyzing the color story of a movie, plotting out my book, admiring art, or social interactions. I can defend it for art and creative endeavors but when it comes to social interactions and i'm trying to resolve a communication issue i'm met with "It's not that deep", I completely shut down. If you don't care enough to maintain health communication, and the friendship, then just tell me you don't want to be friends. I don't want to waste my time on you, anyway, "if it's not that deep". If you have no depth, you aren't worth my time.

That's it, that's the rant. Thanks for reading
