Hey, I’m 26F and I moved to Mumbai a couple of months ago. I honestly didn’t expect making friends as an adult to be this hard. I’ve tried Bumble BFF, a few social events, and putting myself out there, but nothing has really turned into consistent friendships.

I’m a resident doctor, so most of my life is already consumed by work, and since my friends and family are in another city, it gets pretty isolating sometimes. I feel like everyone already has their own circles here and it’s hard to naturally fit in somewhere.

How are people actually making genuine friends in Mumbai? Are there any hobby groups, communities, activities, or spaces where people actually connect beyond one-time meetups?
