It's not AI that is the bubble...
A lot of speculation has been going around in the recent years as to weather an AI bubble could crash the stock market. From my observation, both AI optimists and sceptics are represented in fairly equally. Some believe its a bubble, some don't, who knows.
Looking at history, in 2008 the stock market collapsed, because something failed that no one believed could ever fail: the housing market. So the question is what thing exists today that no one believes can ever fail? The answer is definitely not AI, it's the United States.
In my view if any event on the coming years is going to crash the stock market, it won't be an AI bubble, it will be the sudden realization, that the economic prosperity of the US will not continue as expected.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
