Hi everyone,

I’ve been in Mauritius for a few months now (based around Pereybere / Grand Baie), and I’m still trying to properly figure out where younger people actually go out.

I’m not looking for tourist ads or generic recommendations, more real local insight. Which bars/clubs/areas are actually good for younger crowds, tourists, Europeans, students, etc.?

Is Grand Baie still the main spot, or is Flic en Flac better for nightlife? Any specific places worth checking (like Banana Beach Club, N’Joy, Insomnia, beach bars, hotel bars, events)?

Also, how is the vibe going out alone at night in Grand Baie? Anything to avoid?
