Now that the INDX is coming out, I’m going to have several extra Nextruders. I also have a 2 tool XL, and I’d love to be able to make it a 5 tool with those extra Nextruders.

Has anyone successfully converted one from an MK4s to an XL? I’d love it if Prusa eventually sold a conversion kit - I’m sure there will be a ton of extra Nextruders over the next year especially.

I currently manage 9 printers and use Prusa Connect extensively, since the day it was released. I was excited to see that we’re finally able to pay for some extra storage, as I’m constantly bumping up against the 1 gig. That said, file management in Prusa Connect is effectively non existent. Are there any plans to at the very least add folders? Currently it’s just a dumping ground for files.

Right now, if I need to print something that I know is in my Prusa Connect somewhere, I basically need to remember a word that was in the name of the file, search it, and scroll through things that probably also have that word in it, and find what I’m actually looking for. This is especially bad if I have several versions or iterations of a print. I think having an option to have Prusa Connect middleman the file from you to the printer without saving it could be helpful for file management as well. There are so many things that I print that I have zero desire to store long term in Prusa Connect.

This is made even more annoying by the fact that search will randomly be slow to load, presumably because of this being a cloud service. I know it has already been mentioned here several times before, but it’s kind of crazy to me that Prusa Connect is not available to self host - especially because Prusa is continually doubling down on local use of their printers as a way of differentiating themselves in the market. Prusa Link is obviously nowhere near as capable as Prusa Connect, so it’s sad that it’s currently the only local option besides just directly transferring to the USB drive. I don’t currently have access to the Connect Farm Beta, so I can’t say if it addresses any of these issues.
