Hello,
My brother is hopefully purchasing a 1998 Tacoma tomorrow. It’s got 141xxx miles and the body is in pretty good shape from what I can tell. I myself like to think I’m pretty mechanically inclined when it comes to vehicles. I’ve got a wide background in working on and building cars. However, I myself have never really dealt with any early gen Tacomas nor Tundras. Any advice on things to specifically look for other than the usual? Common issues? Leaks? Certain rust areas? Please let me know! I appreciate it greatly and I’ll make sure to update yall with some pictures!
