A family member on my TMo plan has been sick of Verizon for awhile and last week sent in a Verizon Samsung S22 that has one more payment remaining on a 36-month installment promo plan as part of a TMo Trade-In promotion. He noticed the mistake today and since Tmo had not evaluated his trade in device yet, went to Verizon.com and paid off the phone. Is it likely Tmo will reject this device or accept it in the next day or so? If rejected, will he simply be given an opportunity to send in proof this device has been paid off and thus able to use that S22 for the TMo Trade-In Promo or what?
