Sodium and Iris not fully utilizing pure dGPU

Shader

- Complementary Unbound r5.8 + Euphoria Patches 1.9.0 (Other shaders behave the same)

Minecraft/Mod Version

- Fabric 1.21.11

- Sodium 0.8.11 (Other version tested, no difference)

- Iris 1.10.7 (Also tested the other versions)

- Other mods irrelevant. Already tried barebones setup.

Hardware Specs

- RTX 4060 Laptop

- I7 12650H 32 GB (10GB Allocated to Minecraft)

Additional details

- Both monitors 1080p

- I massively undervolted the GPU. This is a 100W TDP RTX 4060 but for temperature and noise control, I undervolted the hell out of it. This has no effect on the problem.

- Other games not affected. Only Minecraft with Sodium and Iris

- Nvidia version 596.49

- Vsync off

Setup

So basically my laptop has 2 external monitor port. HDMI and Mini DP. My current setup uses Mini DP port which is connected directly to RTX 4060 Laptop GPU, bypassing the iGPU entirely, to an external monitor.

Situation

Playing using pure dGPU cuts the utilization by about 12-13%, resulting in a similar percentage of fps loss. Using my main laptop monitor, which naturally uses hybrid mode with iGPU, contrary to how it usually drop fps, Minecraft utilize the full RTX 4060 which results in fps gained

What is actually happening here? I’ve never actually seen this problem before. Can someone help me?
