One of the Cayo nerfs a few years ago changed the patrol route of the juggernaut, and added new guards about 10 seconds after we take the primary. These new guards will see dead guards that used to be safe to kill. One way to complete the heist undetected is to kill the juggernaut, but that is not required.

Here’s some screenshots of guards that might have the key cards or gate keys. Some will get discovered if you kill them, most will not. Some will catch you even if you have guard uniforms, most will not.

There are other guards who can get you caught, but none of them have keycards or gate keys so it’s better to leave them alone. Once you have the keycard (that’s not in Rubio’s office), and the gate keys you should stop killing compound guards.

When gathering intel, you don’t need to be close to most items to send a photo to Pavel.

When you get to the docks you can take photos from the water tower, and on the ground looking the direction items can be found. From a distance you can scope guard uniforms, bolt cutters, and the storage locker lever.

Start taking photos from various locations until you see the “send to Pavel” option.

When gathering intel, you don’t need to be close to most items to send a photo to Pavel. Standing in front of storage lockers is close enough to get photos to Pavel. Start taking photos from the front of storage lockers until the “send to Pavel” option goes away.

After the recent nerfs the average solo Cayo payout dropped from $1.2 million to $800k. The average payout if you add one player (and pay yourself 85%) dropped from $1.5 million to $1.3 million. Running with randoms can be a nightmare but you can make way more money, and also lower your heist cooldown from 2hrs 24 min to only 48 min.

Cayo can be done silent and sneaky, but it’s not required and the Elite Challenge bonus is only an extra $50k - $100k. If you’re proactive, you can spend less than 5 minutes to practically guarantee your escape during gather intel, or 7 minutes with an optional setup.

To help you survive being discovered, there is cutting powder you can find during gather intel to poison the guard’s drinking water, and impair their aim. Find this in 1 of 4 locations then pour into 1 of 2 water towers.

There’s also the optional weapons disruption setup that takes about 7 minutes, and limits the guards to handguns. Both will help you shoot your way out (once you kill the juggernaut who always has a mini gun).

You don’t need to be close to the planning board to take a picture. When you spawn into the safehouse, walk forward to the first desk, take your photo from there, send to Pavel and leave.

When you’re passing the beached whale location you can scope guard uniforms.

Start taking photos from your motorcycle until the “send to Pavel” option goes away.

Guard uniforms at the fishing jetty help you loot the airstrip, and run around the compound undetected.

Start the heist by choosing the “Longfin approach vehicle”, and the “Main Dock infiltration point.”

Tips:

• One guard uniforms location is enough for four players.
• The uniforms allow you to pass trough most guard vision cones from under 4 seconds.
• The uniforms don’t work when you have a gun out (even while driving).
• The uniforms don’t work on the compound cameras, Juggernaut, or the guards closest to Rubio’s office.
• The uniforms don’t work if you bump into a guard on foot or while driving.

When you first spawn in to the airstrip, look towards the cafe and start taking photos. From that same spot you can scope 1 of 2 guard uniforms, the bolt cutters, and the supply truck.

Start taking photos until the “send to Pavel” option goes away.

Tips:

• The supply truck is slow and tips over easily. If you have guard uniforms it’s better to steal a jeep.
• One guard uniforms location is enough for four players.
• The bolt cutters quietly opens storage lockers when guards are close enough to hear the cutting torch.
• One bolt cutters location is only good for the player who picks it up.

I could use some help with cargo sourcing and sales. Experienced pilot preferred but not required.

Help me source and sell aircraft cargo (by air) for 45 minutes. We’ll fly as a team in rowdy public lobbies protecting each other and the cargo.
