after learning that the American models of the Galaxy S7 with the Snapdragon chipset has a permanently locked bootloader, i went on my way to buy a motherboard from the international model of the Galaxy S7 with the Exynos chipset because they have unlockable bootloaders to swap out with, and i think it went pretty well

i did this because #1, better performance, and #2, custom rom support and easier to root

and yes i am aware of the camera not working. that's because of the differnt sensors (Snapdragon using the Sony IMX and Exynos using the Samsung ISOCELL), but i will buy a camera for the model next time

This is my Samsung Galaxy S1 (SGH-T959V) and i was wondering if there is even a way to root this today. I've done some methods before, but the links to the files and tools i need are mostly dead, and i tried some softwares like SuperOneClick and Kingo Root but none of them worked

figured to show off the shutdown and bootup animation on my LG L90 on here in this subreddit. don't mind the dead pixels all over the screen, I was hitting it a couple of times as the digitizer was acting up. I'll get that replaced soon

one thing i would also like to add is that this is a T-Mobile variant and I rooted the device and used the official animations for the boot and shutdown animation. I also used the sounds from the LG G2 because i liked them
