I'm interested in what exactly is this subreddit. I notices this sub seems to have a higher quality of discussion than most on this platform, although like all ideological subs it reads a bit suppressive. So what is discussed here? How does this subreddit keep quality discussions?
Basically title. Historically it was a major source of revenue for the Conic countries, before the construction of the Panama canal.
Coming to think about it, I think Messina controlled by the two states of Malta/Sicily would also be a nice addition. The game should have more chokepoints and not just places that visually look 'choked'.

Anyway, the gist is in the Turkish War of Independence, Britain escorted the Sultan to British-ruled Cyprus and kept him there to win support of Muslim subjects and enforce the Treaty of Severes later. Ask any questions!
