Looking for a few guitar-playing Duolingo fans

I’ve been teaching guitar for over 20 years and have been building interactive guitar courses for my students for over a decade now.

Lately, I’ve been developing an entirely new thing that’s closer towards an actual game. So I’d love to get some feedback from some folks who already like using games to learn, which is why I'm looking for a few guitar-playing Duolingo fans to check it out.

I won’t share too much about it here, because of this sub's self promotion rules, but let me know if you’d like to test it out!

I’m building a game to teach you the fretboard. Looking for a few Rocksmith players to test and share some thoughts

Hey everyone, I’ve been teaching guitar for over 20 years and have been building interactive guitar courses for my students for over a decade now at stringkick.com.

Lately, I’ve been developing an entirely new thing that’s closer towards an actual game. So I’d love to get some feedback from guitarists who already use games to improve. Which is why I’m looking for some Rocksmith players to check it out.

It’s a learning path that teaches you all the fretboard notes in a few weeks, with about 10 minutes of practice a day. You beat levels of increasing difficulty until you’ve covered the entire fretboard.

It’s web based, so you can play on any device and works with mic detection, so you can use your guitar to beat the levels.

Two specific questions:

- I don’t have a Real Tone cable myself, so if you do, I’d love to know if the note recognition works with that too.

- I know Rocksmith used to have mini games for theory topics, but removed them. If you played that, does this scratch that itch at all, or was it really different?

That’s all, let me know if you’d like to be a tester!
