Not really sure how to write one of these without sounding either too negative or like I’m trying to sell myself, so I’ll just be straightforward.
The last year or so has been rough mentally. A lot of anxiety, isolation, and feeling disconnected from people. I still work, do DJ gigs, thrift/resell online, play drums occasionally, watch too much TV, all the normal human stuff, but internally I’ve felt pretty checked out for a while.
I miss having someone to talk to consistently. Not even in some huge dramatic soulmate kind of way. Just companionship. Someone to share random thoughts with, send dumb memes to, watch shows with, talk about life with, whatever.
I’m pretty introverted these days, but I’m thoughtful, self-aware, loyal, and probably funnier once I’m comfortable around someone. Big fan of sitcoms, music, horror games/movies, weird conversations, and people who can be honest about life without turning everything into a performance.
Not expecting miracles from Reddit, but figured I’d throw this into the void and see what happens.
