I got a garage door with seal needing replacement. Pretty sure it's p-bulb and since it's dated and not as common as t-track now , I'm wondering if it's easier to remove the retainer plate and replace it with a current setup.
I attached some pictures to show how it's mounted and it looks like it's just braces in by two bolts, one at each end. Doesn't seem to be tacked in or glued anywhere. I'm thinking if I slightly loosen each bolt I can wedge it out. The bottom bracket is bolted in 3 areas to the bottom panel with just one near the retainer plate which looks like it's holding it in place there. Thoughts?
