So I posted looking for advice a bit ago and have working on it more since.

Critique me so I can improve! The plants have no reference, do you find that makes them worse?

I would say I am going for surrealism, but without a very firm conception of what makes a piece surrealist.

I don’t want to post my reference because it is of myself (interesting dilemma when I’m posting a picture of my painted portrait) but wanted to say that the position of my legs and my fitting on the dash of my car happened. My reliance on reference pictures is why I struggle with composition… I really don’t trust myself to imagine my leg in a believable way.
