Should I Be Concerned About HIV Based on These Symptoms?
Hello everyone! I'm posting because I've been feeling anxious about a possible exposure and would really appreciate some advice from people who have experience with this.
My last intercourse was on August 11. We used a condom throughout intercourse.
On August 15, I developed a mild fever, mild cough, sore throat (which was already gone by the following morning), and mild muscle soreness.
I'm worried because I've read that some of these symptoms can happen during acute HIV infection. At the same time, I know these symptoms can also happen with many ordinary infections lang.
I'm mainly asking because I'm not sure if I should be worried about HIV based on these symptoms, especially since we used a condom. I know symptoms alone can't confirm or rule out HIV, so I'm also planning to get tested.
