Pgwp eligibility
Hey everyone,
I am transfer student at one of the institutions in ontario. My program has 8 academic semesters plus a mandatory co-op. I've finished all academic coursework — no courses left to take. My school says co-op counts as the semester, so I'm technically in my second-to-last semester, not my final one, and therefore not authorized to work part-time right now.
If you're in a similar spot — all academic courses done, only co-op left, but school still counts co-op as its own semester — what did you do? Were you able to work? Did it affect your PGWP later?
Coop should be between semesters but due to program curriculum i had to be part time this semester had no choice but i maintained full time status in all previous semester. And School won’t agree to provide support letter saying this part of their curriculum not my choice.
Any insights appreciated…
