For context, i’ve been accepted into the Spring Semester in Japan with AFS-USA, but AFS-Japan has yet to accept. That’s a given, though, as I just submitted the offer letter & program agreement a few days ago.
Is there an average time it takes for the host country to review/accept? I’m kind of anticipating hearing back from them by September/October, but idk. With school starting up again here in America, I‘d like to know a relative time. I planned my schedule as I would’ve if I got rejected, so I have a few AP classes that i’m going to drop if I do get accepted.
You can give me an anecdote or anything like that a guesstimate, idrc, just would like to know how long you guys think it’d take.
I'm an anime only, but I just wanna say I hate Kiriwo so much. Why does he do anything, why does he exist?? I have no one to talk to about this and I just need to find fellow haters. I'm like actually pissed off watching Ep. 9 of S4, I can't do ts. I'm like so mad. He's making me so mad. I've never hated a character so irrationally. Am I alone in this.? Am I crazy??? I hate him so much

Hi, I've recently been accepted to the second round of AFS whatever it is. I have to write my host family letter, but there aren't really a lot of instructions. How long should it be? Also, what all should I include? Any past letters you guys have that would be good references? Or am I overthinking it..
I feel like I've been sitting with pure agony! I submitted my application on 4/21, when the application was available, and now it's a waiting game. So, I was wondering if anyone wanted to wait together? We can study Japanese and dream of our soon to be life... hopefully. 🥹
