Gmt800 build (please read if ur a experienced tuner or builder/ mechanic)
So ive been wanting to build my truck for awhile and im just not getting to where i would be able to do some stuff. Im wondering if anyone has done a 6.0 and 6l80 swap into one of these trucks? I want a quick rowdy truck that still drives great (much better than it does now anyways) my truck hates the highway, any flat ground or slight incline and im downshifting twice and stuck way up in the rpm’s. But with that being said half of my issue is that i have stock internals, and stock gears with a 6in lift and 35x13.50r26’s. Im stuck over going built 4l80 or 6l80 (i know a 6l80 swap would be complicated but im wondering if its worth it in the long run) i want a truck that’s quick, reliable, enjoyable to drive and that can still haul a utility trailer or small boat. Any help would be appreciated, my plan is a built 6.0 with a mild cam and probably eventually boosted, either built 6l80 or 4l80 swap and 4.56 rear gears. Please give me advice
