Am I paying too much for rent?

I’m starting a new job at 35.5/hr for training for a presume a couple months, then jump to 41.5/hr. I’m trying to sign a lease for $1500 a month not including utilities. Electric is around $120 in the summer and WiFi is $50. Unsure if water is included.

Can I afford this rent?! It’s a perfect spot and I’m in love but it’s my first “nice” apartment since graduating and I am nervous about student loans over my head right now. I’m used to paying dirt cheap for rent where I live so this seems daunting.

Any opinions on this apartment that I should know before signing a lease? I was impressed but reviews from years ago make me nervous
