October is Healthy Workplace Month

Got an email that October is Healthy Workplace Month.

What a joke!

The OPS is a toxic workplace.

I wish they would stop being so fake and pretending they care and that the place is not filled to sycophants that will stab you in the back the first chance they get just to make themselves look better.

Should I ask to return to home before they turf me?

So, I am on a temp assignment and I am pretty certain that I will not be extended at the end of the assignment next month. Background: I was hired by one manager, but she left and I don’t get along with the new one. Some have suggested that I initiate a request to return to my home position first and leave on my terms. That way when I interview for other jobs, I can say that I left because I felt the position did not suit me or was not right for my career objectives. I’m not sure, I would be returning to a much lower paying position. Should I not try and stick it out for the money? Or does leaving on my own terms make more sense in the long run?
