My view is that MAGA will rapidly disintegrate since the movement is a cult of personality.
Mainstream conservatism will swing back a bit to course correct and things will return to normal.
Trump literally said he is unbothered and just cares about ensuring Iran has no nukes?
Obama already did this.
A lot of these MAGA leaders and donors are from the exact same 25 universities, east coast boarding schools and professional services / feeder job pipelines (eg big law, finance) as democrats. Its ridiculous.
My hypothesis is that the leaders want to keep their supporters:
Uneducated and middle class ppl are easier to control.
I think it’s classless and crass.
Monuments, passports,currency, etc, doing everything except making the US affordable for working class families.
