“LeBron is the greatest of all time. You know, Joel is ex MVP, Jaylen Brown Finals MVP, Maxey coming off of the year he had, Edgecombe. The sky is the limit.” - D’Angelo Russell on the 76ers

what would be worse for Lebron's legacy: playing like he did in the 2011 finals and losing like they did or or winning in 2011 and playing as bad as he did with DWade winning finals MVP?

I hear about how bad he played in the 2011 finals, was wondering how it would be looked at if he won?

If LeBron wins a chip in Philly would he pass Kobe all time?

As we all know, LeBron hasn't passed Kobe yet. Kobe is still the better scorer, defender, team player, is stronger mentally, etc etc. But if he wins in Philly and ties Kobe in rings, will he be better all time?

If Bron was 4-0 in the finals would his legacy be better?

I personally say no it would be worse because that would mean losing to teams like a young Celtics team the Atlanta hawks and the Raptors which would have been a bigger blemish than losing in the finals ex: the media made him out as a failure for losing to Pierce Garnett and Allen Celtics team so I can only imagine if he lost to a young Tatum or Lowry and Derozan.

Last it’s an accomplishment to make it to the playoffs and an accomplishment to make it to the finals. Losing in the finals isn’t the goal and doesn’t look great but Losing before the finals would not look good at all

Losing Lebron just made the lakers better...

The Lakers didn’t lose an ordinary player who could no longer contribute they moved on from arguably the greatest offensive engine of all time. Yet, the Lakers might have found themselves in a position where moving on might have been the better option. But it was never whether LeBron could still play, It was the risk of building a championship-contending team around him close to his retirement.
