Model 3 RWD now vs. wait for Model Y price drop — what would you do?

My wife and I work from home and already have an SUV that works fine. We’re looking to add a second car mainly because her parents are coming to stay with us long-term (6 months this year, then longer stretches in future years). They’ll likely use the SUV, so we’d be driving whatever we buy.

The case for Model 3 RWD Premium right now:

•	Current pricing is genuinely good

•	Covers our actual needs (low daily mileage, occasional office runs)

•	My wife prefers it

Why I’m hesitant:

•	I’ve always wanted a Model Y — road trips, camping, more cargo space, higher seating position

•	Winter driving: not sure how the Model 3 RWD holds up in Toronto winters even with winter tires

•	We’re likely having kids in the next few years, so the extra space would be nice

•	The Model Y AWD is $65K right now which is too steep, but I’m hoping prices drop (especially if Canadian imports from China happen)

Basically: the Model 3 satisfies our current needs, but the Model Y better fits where we’re headed. Is the Model 3 RWD reliable enough in Toronto winters with proper tires? And do you think Model Y pricing will realistically come down anytime soon?
