Shipping update after 1 hour on hold with Motorola
I pre-ordered on day 1 for delivery to southern California. I got my shipping confirmation yesterday afternoon but the tracking number was invalid up until a few hours ago. It shows expected delivery of June 1st.
I called Motorola and after an hour on hold I finally got to speak with Joanne from Order Administration. I explained my disappointment as a first time Motorola customer and pre-ordering on the 14th and finishing out my order won't arrive until June 1st.
Joanne stated that she has seen a few of these calls come in and what she's done is personally followed the order with the warehouse to flag it and track it. She said she worked with a customer yesterday we was seeing the same thing in their UPS tracking but then it changed to delivery for Saturday (tomorrow). She says UPS system is only showing estimates until the package is further along on its shipping route.
She was going to track mine and send me an email update later or tomorrow morning.
Sharing just in case others are wondering.
