My wife and I just bought a house near Patterson Park and moved in last week.

We are having an issue with the string lights outside. Our house is the one on the block with the power outlet the lights connect to.

The lights worked for the first two or three nights we were here. Then there was a power outage in the area and a storm - since then the lights aren’t coming on.

I’ve checked the outlet on the wall outside, reset it and tested it has power via a phone charger - it does. Checked again tonight, and the lights aren’t working. Apparently they are on a timer so should be automatic. Timer appears to be 15 ft up the wall of the house.

The power comes off my house but the lights attach to everyone’s on the block. Who’s responsible when they aren’t working? What’s the next step here?

Any suggestions would be great!

Hey fellow Marfan friends,

I'm 37, multiple surgeries deep - valves, aortic roots etc. About a week ago I noticed my right nostril dripping clear fluid that looked like water when I leaned forward. Thought nothing of it, figured it was seasonal allergies given we have moved into spring and its not unusual to come outside and find your car covered in pollen where I live.

After a week of the issue, I did a bit of reading because the volume of fluid and its consistency just doesn't seem like normal mucus. I think its a CSF leak...more googling confirmed Marfans patients are at much greater risk of these.

Have a doctors appointment on Wednesday with my Internal Medicine guy. Interested to know if any fellow Marfans people have had this issue?
