Spyderco ButtonUp

My Spyderco ButtonUp arrived today it’s a very interesting knife from Spyderco compared to the usual knives they design. It’s the first Spyderco with a plunge lock and also it features bearings instead of washers absolutely no jimping on the blade which normally I would hate but the g10 is very grippy and the ramp for the thumb hole holds your finger. The knife only has a very small section of liners along the top end around the button area but the g10 is very thick and solid, the knife feels sturdy and reliable as you would expect for a Spyderco. My main grip is the 8crmov steel on the blade but with the Spyderco heat treatment it should out perform knives with the same steel from other brands. I think it’s a neat addition to my collection and it’s very fun to fidget with it’s super smooth. If anyone is interested and looking to pick one up SMKW has them available now for $75.
