Bykski O11 Mini distro build: fitting count mathematically doesn’t make sense 😅

I think I’m going crazy with my first hardtube build and need a sanity check 😅
I bought a complete custom loop kit from EZModding for the Lian Li O11 Mini with distro plate. According to the product description, the kit contains everything required to build the loop without bending tubes.
Here’s my issue:
I have:
- 2 radiators
- CPU block
- GPU block
- distro plate
Each component has an IN and OUT port, so logically I need 8 tube runs between components and distro.
But the kit only includes:
- 7 hardtubes
- 14 hardtube fittings
As far as I understand:
1 tube run = 2 fittings
So:
8 runs should require 16 fittings, not 14.
I already checked whether one connection is supposed to be direct-mounted without a tube. In the showcase/product video, the rear port of the bottom radiator indeed seems to connect differently (black connector instead of visible tube), BUT:
- the distance is around 10 cm
- there is no long adapter included
- only one tiny male-to-male adapter exists, and that’s needed for the drain valve
These are the additional included adapters/fittings and how I interpreted them:
9x 90° elbows:
- 2x per component
- plus 1 extra for the bottom radiator alignment to the distro
4x stop plugs:
- 2x GPU block
- 1x distro plate
- 1x drain
4x 20 mm extenders:
- 2x per radiator
2x 40 mm extenders:
- CPU block
1x 15 mm extender:
- upper GPU connection for alignment to distro
This all seems logically correct to me, but I still end up with:
- 8 required connections
- but only 7 tubes / 14 fittings
So unless I’m missing something fundamental, the math doesn’t work out.
Did anyone build a similar distro setup and encounter this?
Am I overlooking some weird distro routing logic or does the kit likely miss 2 fittings + 1 tube or a special "connector"?
Would really appreciate a second opinion before I lose my mind 😄
