Hi all, this might be a stupid question but I need help finding the right wiper blade.

I’m trying to help my mother replace the wiper blades on her 2016 Volkswagen soft top convertible and the have hit a snag. The bracket on the arms have a standard seeming shape with the middle punch button to release, but she’s bought multiple wiper blades that don’t seem to fit no matter the adapter. We’ve changed them before but my recently deceased father was the one who always replaced them and knew the bracket.

I haven’t been able to find any videos or posts about this weird type of wiper blade, Volkswagens part finder site is slow and unreliable, and the car’s manual says nothing on a specific make or adapter needed. As I said before, the wiper itself has an empty slot down the middle like standard wipers, but the blades I took off have an external locking clasp on the blade that extends past the wiper arm bracket to hold them in place.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
