Id been wanting to pick up a watch while I was out here in Europe. I’ve Club Campus Night (738) on my list for quite a while.

Today I had an appointment in Paris as Hu Horologerie and was all set to purchase the watch with the black suede strap. I had provided my passport for VAT and while they were processing, I noticed they had the same watch on a bracelet which piqued my interest. It was the same price and I figured “it’s always better to buy the bracelet and I could just swap out for a suede strap later”.

So I asked them if I could get the one on the bracelet instead. It was then that they realized that the price was tagged incorrectly and should have been 70 Euros more than was listed.

I asked them if they would honor the price they had and they ended up saying yes which was a nice surprise. Anyways, nice to be part of the club and highly recommend Hu Horlogerie if you’re in Paris.

I have a dilemma where I tried on the 36mm with the dark blue dial and I thought it fit quite well.

However the watch I want is the Club Campus Night which might only be in 38mm. Anyone know if it’s offered in 36mm?

This spot just opened up a couple days ago right next to the Post Office on Colorado.

George is the owner and truly knows his coffee. The concept of Milkbrew is a Japanese method of making coffee that involves steeping the coffee in milk overnight. The drink was good but what really stood out was his pour overs and cold brew. Highly recommended!

Seriously nice to have a coffee forward shop like this here in Pasadena. No affiliation, just stoked about this shop and want to see it grow.

I picked these up new for $100 and trying to figure out which colorway it is

It’s possible the photos I provided were a weird angle and not even something I’d wear. Here I paired it with some high waisted denim from Cavour and loafers. Also for reference, I put an Overshirt I have from SuitSupply. I basically used the length of this as a reference.

I still think this jacket has potential. I’m thinking if I shorten it to where it is in the last picture (quickly folded), it will look ok. My concern is the pockets would sit oddly and perhaps the button stance too.

For reference this jacket is a Made in Italy Polo Ralph Lauren in a silk linen blend that I got for $25. So far the tailor shortened the sleeves and said he took in the body. I think he could do more with the body.

Seems to hit at the shoulder bone correctly but overall I’m thinking it’s too big?
