How bad have I messed up?
Boots about 18 months old. I haven’t conditioned them as much as I should have, and that’s my bad. About 2 wears a week on average. How bad are these creases? What (if anything) can I do?

I’ve been looking into purchasing a pair used for around $230. I believe they’re the craftsman model with the rubber sole and they appear to be in pretty good shape.
My question is, how versatile are these really? I was hoping to wear them daily to work with jeans or chinos but I also want to wear them on weekends casually sometimes in an outdoor setting.
Should I wait to find some Gardener’s as they’re closer to my current daily boot (blundstones) or rock the slightly elevated look with casual shit like jeans and t shirts.
Does anyone remember the old bone coloured moleskins with the button up front pockets?
I had a couple of pairs when I was jackarooing 50 years ago. I don't see them listed in the latest catalogue.
P.S. I was tempted to use the heading "Old Mole Skins".
Can anyone tell me how old this vest is and any ideas how much it might be worth?
I’ve been using the craftsman 2/3 times a week for 6months now and just noticed the interior getting worn out rapidly. I’ve had cheap pair of shoes last 2yrs with more aggressive wear/long walks during lunch at a less busy job.
Is it too late to save this pair? What can I do to stop further damage and damage going through the outer layer.
I’ve been using these conditioner/ polish on the exterior and it’s pretty much like new.
I recently bought these and cleaned them up. I originally thought they were Gardeners. What confuses me is the X in the stamp, as I own a pair of Craftsman’s and the C refers to the chisel toe. They are 17 years old and in amazing condition. Made in 2009.
Hi everyone, i purchased a pair of Pull up leather craftsmans about 8 months ago. I love the boots, the look and feel is all great. The problem i have is that my right foot slides around and wiggles way too much but my left foot fits perfectly. My foot slides forward and rubs my pinky toe with every step. I have always had thin insoles in them to try extend the life of the leather insole. I tried wearing thicker socks and it helps but is not ideal at all. I am at an ends and probably just going to sell them at this point as it annoys me so much that i spent so much on them and they don't fit.
Please please if anyone has some tips or something that isn't a first page google search, I AM ALL EARS.
It’s not a large scratch but it hurts me seeing this. Any home fixes or just take it in to RM and get em polished and fixed ?
The toe shape is different on each boot and the stitching not great.
Is this normal or am I being fussy?
Thanks
First pair of proper shoes for my 20th 🤩🤩
Been wearing beater Air Forces as my only pair of shoes for the longest time, decided to pull the trigger on a pair of black comfort craftsman after years of admiration
Any tips on extending the longevity on the boots? Planning to daily the foreseeable future.
I just want to make it known to everyone that the QC is not good. They produce great boots and great quality. I ordered the Macquarie 5 weeks ago and the pair I recieved had a small chip at the front of the boot with a couple lighter scuffs. The other boot seemed almost perfect except the edge of the sole had an indent.
I returned it in store and they happily did an exchange. After two weeks I recieved a new pair. One boot being perfect for the most part except there are tiny holes in the heel stack. The other boot almost perfect with a nice scratch on the side above the heel with the heel stack perfect. I wouldnt have cared that much except that its a scratch you feel with your finger nail. Also this particular shoe was unusually heavily wringled around at the back of the boot.
I plan to go instore and exchange again. Is it too much to ask after paying $749 for a pair of boots that they come with the upper leather as if they new because THEY ARE and boot where the components that absorb the most impact like the heel stack come with no defects? Honestly its very disappointing, and has changed my mind about RMs which was very positive
i took it to the rmw flagship in sydney and the lady told me that it is, as thats where the stitching ends so its normal, but dont take advice from someone who profits from your decision. the shoe is a week old and its on both sides of both boots too thats why im so confused. thanks.
Went today and got fitted (10.5 H if it matters). Can't decide between the classic Chestnut or the pull up leather in Mid Brown.
Any suggestions or advice?
Thanks team RM.
I believe these were a promotional style boot that were made in the early 2000s, however I’m not sure if they were ever made for the general public.
They were leather soles which have been resoled. Made in Adelaide but nil other markings are legible.
My partner will be an Aus citizen this year and im thinking of a gift to give him -something australian to commemorate 😅 my first thought was RM Williams to wear to work or casual events. Is this a good idea.or any other recommendations?
The battle of the commando sole boat shoes.
When I saw the Dockyards up for sale half a size larger than my usual RMW size I thought I'd give them a shot anyway.
With two pairs of Sebago rangers in the closet (suede and waxed leather) I'd thought its a great opportunity to compare the two.
Out of the box the sebagos feel way more rugged. The fit is slightly uncomfortable for my fit (G width) as the toe box is narrow. The leather is stiffer, the commando soles have grooves that are way deeper and it feels like it's constructed to last a lifetime.
The Dockyards half a size up fit perfectly and are insanely comfortable right out of the box. Less rugged but way more comfortable with a wider toe box and leather that's supple right out of the box. The finishing also looks of a higher standard than the sebagos.
If I had to choose I'd go for the Dockyards. Great value for money in my opinion for shoes handmade in Portugal.
