What can I do to better my chances at getting into a vet school?
Hello everyone, I am on my second to last semester at ASU, studying for vet med, but even if I get all As in my remaining classes, I still will only have about a 3.37 GPA. I know the general cut off is 3.4, so is there anything else I can do to increase my chances at getting accepted? I have only been working/ volunteering in this field recently, but I have plans to take a year or two off from schooling to really build my experience level, and I am actively volunteering in regular vet clinics, exotic vet clinics, and animal sanctuaries/ farms that have larger animals. I was also planning on taking some post bacc classes to hopefully get my GPA higher. Will doing all this help my chances out? Any other recommendations? Thank you to everyone who responds! I will literally take any and all advice!🙏
