I’m considering switching clubs next season. One club is weaker overall, but because they don’t have many strong players, I’d likely make one of their highest division teams (above my current level).

It would mean better experience, stronger opponents, and probably better coaching, but we would likely be outclassed most of the season.

Would you choose to play in a division above your level for faster improvement, or stay where you’re competitive and develop there?
I should note that I’m Australian, the league is collegiate-level but changing clubs is easier than in the NCAA.
