Advice needed!!

Hi everyone!

I was diagnosed with Ureaplasma Parvum at the beginning of May and was treated for it with 10 days of Doxy. Since then, I’ve had 4 negative pcr tests, waiting on the test results from one more pcr test. I’m still having pretty bad lingering symptoms (UTI like symptoms: burning, frequent urination, bladder pressure). I’ve seen a urologist and they did two urine PCR tests that tested for a ton of different bacteria’s, yeast, etc. All came back negative. I’ve done at least 5 urine cultures that come back negative. I was finally able to find a urogynocologist in my area that had a cancellation next week, so I was able to take that appointment and I’ll be meeting with her next Tuesday. This is my first time dealing with anything vaginal or urinary related. What are some things I should be bringing up to the urogynocologist? Any tests I should ask for? Medications? I would love advice on this. This has been exhausting both mentally and physically.

Advice needed :(

Hi everyone,

My issues began 2 weeks ago. I started having symptoms of a UTI (frequency, bladder pressure, cloudy urine, white specs in urine, strong smelling urine) I also had discharge that was coming out a ton and some of it had white chunks in it. I got a few urine cultures done and everything came back negative. Then, my gyno sent out the swab test and it came back positive for ureaplasma parvum. I’m on doxycycline now. All of this started after having sex with a new partner. I was completely fine and symptom free before. I’m just wondering if ureaplasma can cause all of these symptoms to happen. I’m scared, confused, and I feel alone :( this has been terrible
