My thoughts on Sophia’s hiatus—why she deserves zero pressure and all our support right now

I wanted to share my perspective on Sophia's recent mental health hiatus announcement. Seeing the news right before major promotions was heartbreaking, but honestly, I am so incredibly proud of her for making this choice.
As the leader of KATSEYE, Sophia has carried an immense amount of pressure since day one. Between being the group's main spokesperson, managing their intense global schedule, and guiding the team through everything, she has consistently put everyone else first. In her letter, she mentioned realizing that if she doesn't take care of her mind and body now, she won't be able to do what she loves long-term. That takes a huge amount of maturity and bravery to admit, especially in an industry that constantly pushes idols to past their limits.
Instead of seeing this as a setback for the group, I think we should view it as a necessary step to protect our leader. The fact that the other members completely supported her at Head in the Clouds proves how tight their bond is. Let’s send Sophia nothing but love and avoid over-analyzing the situation so she can rest peacefully until September.

Can we talk about KATSEYE's interview dynamics? (No hate intended)

Since I'm sharing thoughts on my profile, I wanted to bring up another thing I've noticed in recent interviews. A lot of people on TikTok and forums keep pointing out how the other members constantly jump in or talk over Yoonchae when she is speaking.
Honestly, I really think it’s just a harmless group habit rather than anything mean or intentional. KATSEYE is an incredibly high-energy group of close friends who naturally feed off each other's excitement, which leads to a lot of talking over one another. Because Yoonchae is still building up her confidence with the English language barrier, she naturally takes a few extra beats to formulate her thoughts.
The other girls aren't maliciously cutting her off; it's an instinct to keep the interview pacing moving, avoid dead air, or enthusiastically echo what she's trying to say. It's a very common habit in multi-national groups, and you can tell it comes from supportive excitement! What do you guys think?
