Okay, so this is pretty simple. If you could re-sort all of their songs into EPs, change which 3 in each are singles, what order they're released, and the styling and vibe of each era, what would you do and which two members do you think would own each EP? It could be based on personal preference, fan favorites, cohesivity, or anything else you'd like.

Is no one else gonna talk about the fact that Yoonchae is Korean? In Korea, the age of adulthood is 20, not 18. In her home country and culture, she’s still a minor. Or do I just have this wrong?

It sucks to see all the yt comments being upset, surprised, and shocked fans and I can’t dismiss that, it is a HUGE difference from animal mv and then they threw in the new mv.

Before my opinion I get all the comments talking about the kids, the ads, the clothes, yoonchae being 18, but my opinion is coming from someone who grew up w Latin music, Britney Spears, dancehall, and all kinds of music but more note on those people. If you want to bring this up im not gonna hate this is for those who agree and come from this bg (but again I won’t go against opposing opinions)

Everyone looks so sexy and hot in a fun way. Whenever I listen to these type of songs I always imagined myself in these type of mv’s so it’s funny to see it come to life for these girls. I think the direction of the mv is so cool. It sucks to see people saying “why are they zooming in on those parts…” but tbf it really did just give a regular high beat mv that isn’t out of the norm for me I think everything was colorful, fierce, and stunning especially w the background actors.

Being a “global group” I’m so glad they are trying to implement that by giving this Brazil funk music. Luckily I’ve seen a mix of reviews by ppl from Brazil and it looks like it isn’t heavily hated so they did something right w hinting tiny bits of Brazil-relatability. They have too much of a kpop fandom which makes sense for being part of hybe, and im proud of them for taking this step so that the haters/kids can stop listening to them and actually have more of a global audience listen to them. I think it is a hard step and it’s gonna be hard for katseye.I hope the girls focus more on the positive feedback bc there is gonna be a lot of hate cause yeah a lot of kids are watching it! Even if i was a kid watching it I think I’d be in love cause again Latin music dancehall etc. and not every music is like kpop music, same goes for mv’s and personalities.

I get it it sucks to not be able to stan katseye since it’s not like the SIS era but I love this wild era and im hoping for more types of genres like Bollywood style songs, Afrobeats, we’re getting close to reggaeton bc of Gabriela (more like Spanish pop but it’s possible!), middle eastern music, etc. im excited to see more songs like this and WE STILL HAVE POP SONGS! Animal is super cool, I love that way, not a fan of bel-air but I bet it’s an awesome song for those who really like modern pop songs! And obviously the EDM. I loved celebration by le sserafim so PINKY UP was super cool and such a fun techno beat (grew up w techno too). I hope over time there’s more fans like me and that the old Katseye fans start to open up more to these types of songs bc these are what GLOBAL songs are like! Get outside of your norm and listen to other songs! It’ll be weird and different at first but I hope those who like soft songs start to like these songs too ! (Obviously talking about teens and up. for any children yeah that’s another take so I am not talking about them regarding these opinions for those under 13)

EDIT: said “did something right with Brazil’s culture” but generalized it too much meant like they did some research but again tiny bits not every Brazilian might relate to the tiny things shown in the mv

The whole "its for kids" talk is so stupid in my opinion.
"They have been on kids choice awards" - So did Ice Spice, Cardi B, Doja Cat, Drake and MGK and their music ain't exactly for kids. Its called kids CHOCIE. Instead of saying the artists should change their music style to accommodate the kids, we should maybe look into why the kids CHOOSE those artists.
"They are on Celebrity Substitute!" - So did SZA but her songs ain't for kids, are they?
"They have a collab with DTI, Monster High and Toca Boca!" - Lady Gaga had a collab with DTI and Monster high too! Guess what her music is not aimed at kids. Conan Gray and Olivia Rodrigo had a collab with Toca Boca too and their songs aren't really for kids.
Kids have parents. Kids have YT kids, Kids have parental control on their devices. No one forces the kids too watch the MV, they can enjoy their music without watching the MV, watching those videos where jst the lyrics are showed. If the parents can't control what their kids are watching/listening to then why should some girls in their 20s be responsable for the fact that parents can't protect their kids online?

PERSONALY i think unloveu should be public and for everyone cuz not everyone has the money to buy a CD. Not only that i checked for the physical CD and Vinyl editions but cant find it anywhere. I just think unloveu should just be free and no one should be paying to listen to their fav artist. just my opinion tho, what about yours?

Honestly, I think she requested a hiatus due to her being sick a lot and just wanting to take time off from being on a busy schedule, they finished off tour, released a single, performed at the Grammys, and went on the Jimmy Fallon show around the same time. Part of me thinks the she wanted to take some time off (a temporary hiatus is what they’ve been calling it.) to decide whether she wanted to depart from KATSEYE Or just take a hiatus.. and that she requested it to be private so that she wouldn’t have the world in her business. which is why the company decided to release an album, schedule a tour, and have a whole new era without her so incase she does decide to leave, they already have their debut as 5. Which is also why it’s not a normal hiatus and we automatically see it as a “abnormal” hiatus. Lately, everytime the girls are questioned about manons hiatus, the girls (but mostly Lara) say “it’s not our place to say” which basically means either they are waiting for manon to say she wants to stay in the group, or the girls are waiting for HXG to release the statement on whether she has decided to stay or not. Which also causes some conflict with Manon and HxG. Making leader Sophia as their scapegoat and make up narratives about Manons hiatus. However, the way they are going about it gives fans the indication that it is “racism” going on but that’s just what I’ve seen.

Whether Manon decides to take a temporary hiatus, or Depart from the group, I 100% see where she’s coming from, even in KATSEYES new documentary, main dancer Daniela has expressed that she’s definitely thought about quitting due to the workload and busy schedule, and All rounder Megan has stated that her mental health has been heavily affected as KATSEYE becomes more noticed and popular over the recent years.. KATSEYE wasn’t meant to last. Honestly, in the pop star academy documentary, they said that the girl group was an experiment to see if kpop training and development would work in the Western Pop music industry.

I just saw the official news about Sophia going on a temporary hiatus to prioritize her health and wellness, and it really got me thinking. Since Manon is also currently on hiatus, seeing KATSEYE move forward as a 4-member lineup (Daniela, Lara, Megan, and Yoonchae) honestly makes me a bit worried.I don't think this is a great sign for the group's overall image right now, and I can't help but feel like the girls might be getting seriously overworked with such a packed schedule. Sophia has been so brave opening up about her ADHD before, and it is a reminder of how much pressure they are under. Having two members away at the same time is tough, especially because their music relies so much on everyone working together. So many of their formations and choreography parts require specific pairings or certain members to balance the lines.I'm really wondering how the group will manage this 4-member dynamic for upcoming performances. No hate at all, because I love all the girls so much, but I'm genuinely worried about their wellbeing and how this will affect their group image. What do you all think about how this lineup is going to work out?

(no hate to enhypen but) they js performed their unreleased new song "bloody paradise" at busan, and its choreo wasnt as aggressive as their other choreos, AND NOBODY talked about that. only when did Katseye made a less aggressive and less physically demanding choreo for their song animal (to focus on vocals), they get hated on and called LAZY? yugh, double standards
