I want to share an honest hot take about how a lot of people are discussing the new EP and the group online right now.

To be completely clear right off the bat, I am not saying that it's weird to worry about Manon. That is definitely not the case. We are all worried about her, and it is completely normal to care about what is going on. But what is weird is the way people are bringing her up constantly to the point where it completely discards the rest of the girls' talents and hard work.

Lately, it feels like every single song on this new EP is getting heavily criticized or outright discarded by fans saying things like, "Oh, Manon isn't in it," or "This track would have been so much better if Manon had lines." Genuinely good songs are being completely ignored just because of her absence. It is so weird because, obviously, this is a brand new era for the group. The songs are already recorded and finalized; they aren't going to magically change them now. You can absolutely state that you miss her or worry about her, but making it a constant, repetitive thing on every single track is exhausting.

What makes it even worse is how people are twisting this into hate against the other members, literally blaming them for something they had absolutely nothing to do with. Mind you, none of the other members know the internal details about the hiatus. They are just doing their jobs and promoting the music. Bringing Manon up as a weapon to drag down the rest of the group and blame them for her absence is incredibly unfair. Every single girl in this group poured their blood, sweat, and tears into preparing for this comeback. When you constantly compare Manon to literally everything they do right now, you are completely minimizing the incredible talent of the remaining members. You can love and support Manon without dragging down the girls who are actively on stage working their hardest.

Edit: Just to be completely clear, I am absolutely not saying that you cannot discuss Manon or that it's weird to talk about her at all. That is definitely not what I'm saying, and I just want to make that 100% clear. My point is only about people using her absence to downplay the other girls' hard work.

Hey everyone! I wanted to drop a genuine unpopular opinion today regarding their content.

Don't get me wrong—the official music videos are still amazing either way, and the production value is always top-tier. But personally, I just love seeing them being so goofy behind the scenes when they are filming and producing content.

It is so funny to watch them just messing around while they set up and explaining how they did everything. For example, my absolute favorite moment was when Sophia had to wear that crystal Tamagotchi necklace for the "Iconic" content. It was hilarious watching Yoonchae pretending to "feed" the necklace so it would stay happy and quiet!

Seeing their real personalities and how much fun they have behind the camera just feels so much more entertaining than the final, polished product. Their MVs are really good, but let me know what you guys think about this!

Personally, my favorite thing to watch is definitely their live streams because they are always so chaotic and entertaining!

It is so crazy to me how much people try to dehumanize idols, especially the members of KATSEYE.I constantly see people online zooming in on the smallest things and making a massive deal out of it. They'll make whole threads because Lara slightly slipped, almost fell, or missed one tiny move that nobody else would even notice in real life. It's like they expect the girls to act like perfect robots 24/7 instead of actual human beings.

Obviously, there are always going to be weird people out there doing this, but it’s still so strange to watch. They are human and they are going to make mistakes sometimes, especially with how intense their choreography is.I just wanted to make this post because treating them like they aren't human over tiny, unnoticed slip-ups is just bizarre.

Personally, I think they should dive into a darker style. I know WILD was obviously bold and untamed, but I would love to see them experiment with a high-quality "dark funk" or a slightly avant-garde, "weird" concept.Don't get me wrong—I'm not saying the girls themselves are weird, but they genuinely excel at pulling off unique, unconventional concepts! I feel like a darker, slightly experimental sonic style would be an absolute perfect fit for them.

Now that we've had time to listen to the WILD EP on repeat, I want to talk about the tracklist pacing. If you could rearrange the order of the songs to make the album flow better, what would your list look like?

Personally, I prefer saving the softer songs for the very end. Here is my exact rearranged tracklist order:

Don't get me wrong, I think Pinky Up was a good starter track because it gave a little peak of what the era was going to be. They were trying to set an expectation by releasing it first. Because of Pinky Up, I personally thought the whole album was going to be a bunch of funk pop! It definitely set a specific expectation. While it’s a great song, I would personally lead with Animal, shift to Hootie Frutti, drop Pinky Up third, follow it up with That Way and Bel Air, and close it out with the exclusive track Unloveu.

I want to look back at the girls' background histories before the survival show started. A lot of the members actually had pretty interesting paths in entertainment, dance, modeling, or social media before they ever formed the group!

The solo dance breaks on this tour have been insane. Honestly, every single dance break was really good and the girls completely crushed it, but I just want to know which one was your personal favorite.

Personally, my top choice has to be Yoonchae because she did a really good job with her dance break, and I also loved Daniela’s! No hate at all to Lara’s and Megan’s dance breaks—all four of them were amazing, but those two are just my personal top favorites even though there are only four choices total.
