I haven't seen any recent posts about this, but more layoffs happened this week with NS Government. This time it was bargaining unit employees.

I ordered wide mouth mason jar lids the other day and they arrived today. There's a LOT of them, but I figured I can toss my old ones, etc. I use a fair number of mason jars to store things.

Got them today and guess what, they sent me REGULAR mouth lids. I probably have a dozen jars they will fit. 😡

I know the pickins haven't been awesome in recent months. I got a couple nice scores last night in RFY. Have you gotten anything good lately?

We all know it hasn't been great pickins lately but IMO there's been a bit of an uptick. Hopefully the dry spell is on the way out. Have you scored any good things? Doesn't matter if it's high value, even useful is good IMO, better than what we've been seeing lately.

I thought maybe there might be a drop of something good at 9 Atlantic. Nah. Don't need things for my non-existent high heeled shoes to go with my car parts. 🤣 Are you guys getting anything good?

Nothing dropped in my RFY last night, just stuff taken away. Not unexpected, a chance to catch up on reviews during Prime Days. I ordered a lawn mower (one of the few things I've paid $$ for in recent months on Amazon), I imagine my RFY will be full of lawn mowers when this is done. 🤣

Weird. I just bought a bathroom fan (not from Amazon, in a store). Just now I got a bathroom fan offered to me in RFY. It was gone by the time I tried to grab it. Still think they're 'listening'!

This appeared in my RFY for a few seconds. Just as well I didn't get it, I didn't need most of it. Did you see anything good on the hour?

Lots of us growl about not seeing much in RFY, just a few things that aren't useful for us. Today I had 11, the most I've had in awhile. Still have 10, since most aren't of any use to me (did grab a hair trimmer since I buzz my husband's hair regularly). Since grabbing that trimmer, two more trimmers appeared, same brand but slightly different. What's in your RFY, anything good?

Our (Vine) hamper died recently, the supports went kaput. We've been using the bag from the inside for the last week or so, hanging it up on the back of the door. Husband and I were talking about this tonight. And what comes up tonight? Yay!

Errored out on me earlier this morning. First decent thing I've seen in awhile (had a Bose bluetooth speaker last night that I also missed but I already have several so I wasn't so salty about that).

I saw this recipe on Instagram, and of course did my own thing. In the end it's chicken taco bowls.

I had corn in my freezer that I'd cooked and removed from the cob. Sear that in a pan (although for the next batch I did it in my air fryer, way less work). Mix in Greek yogurt, Tajin if you have it (I didn't, so chili powder and lime juice, a bit of salt), cilantro. It also called for feta which I don't like, so I added a bit of mozzarella.

We had this in bowls with basmati rice, black beans that were cooked from dried and in my freezer, taco seasoned chicken and some cheese. SO good! The corn was really the star.
