Greetings from Warsaw, Poland! 🇵🇱

My X4 finally arrived, and I'm completely smitten with this tiny little game changer.

I'm a longtime ereader user (mostly using Kindle 6", my third Kindle over 10 years... ), and yes, I was heavily influenced by all the hype around the X4. I decided to treat myself, while keeping my expectations appropriately niche and modest...

A few observations that might be useful to anyone considering one:

• Shipping was impressively fast. Ordered directly from the official website on 22/05 and received it on 02/06.
• Huge thanks to the XTeink Support Team. Through my own silly mistake, I ordered the wrong colour. Torina from support fixed everything quickly and painlessly. 🩶
• No customs charges or import duties. So only 8USD for courier service/ postage.
• Packaging is so neat. The device arrived well protected, box full accessories. Everything feels very mainstream, but minimal.
• Build quality is excellent. The X4 is incredibly light, feels premium in hand, and fits on the back of my iPhone 17e like a dream.
• The screen is sharp and comfortable to read. Flashing and setting up CrossPoint was straightforward. Recommending Noto Serif, great Bookerly clone (old habits die hard).
• Battery life is impressive. After hours of tinkering, file transfers, testing settings, and playing around with the device, I had used less than 10% battery.

Maybe it's the novelty talking. Maybe I'll feel differently in a month.

But for now, I find myself reaching for the X4 far more often than I expected. It fits in my back pocket, disappears into a tiny handbag, and ends up accompanying me on random walks through Warsaw.

Still very much in the honeymoon phase, but so far I'm delighted. 🩶📚
