Anyone relate?
So i was diagnosed with schizoeffective bipolar type back in November of 2025. I was in denial of it mainly bc i didnt experience delusions or hear voices outside of my head, instead i had multiple different voices inside my head. Probably like 3-5, but definitely more than one. I used to think it was a symptom of ADHD, but the psychiatrist i saw said it was schizoeffective and prescribed me abilify. Once i started the medication, after 2 weeks i finally just had 1 voice in my head and i accepted my diagnosis.
Fast forward to April, i had to establish care with a new psychiatrist due to a change in insurance. I explained to him my diagnosis and what symptoms i was experiencing when diagnosed, and he had a hard time believing i was schizoeffective stating he never heard of multiple voices INSIDE one's head lead to the the diagnosis.
My question is does anyone else also have multiple voices in their head and not outside?
