I DID IT (First RGH 3 Attempt)

(ignore my loud pc in the background) My very first RGH 3 attempt! I don’t have much soldering experience and was very shaky and nervous trying to hit PLL_BYPASS. BUT I did it! Also very good boot times + old bootanim.xex.

My console is a trinity with the 4gb internal memory unit. I used a 3k resistor and 28g solid core wire :D

Soldering practice for RGH 3 on a DEAD motherboard.

I have a FULLY dead corona motherboard as my soldering practice board. I know this isn’t the exact point either, but it is close enough to the real via that I will need to hit for RGH 3. The motherboard I will actually be attempting to RGH 3 is my trinity with the removable 4 gigabyte memory unit. So would this be enough for RGH 3?

Working 2006 Xenon with Korean GPU

Hello all, I am unsure if this is anything even worth posting, but I am still very interested in this console that I have. I have a Xenon console, with a GPU that was manufactured in Korea. The date on the console is May 27, 2006. The console still works and was unopened until today (warranty sticker was intact, and it is a VERY dirty console). I have heard a theory about the differences in the die underfill between Korean GPUs and Taiwanese GPUs. Apparently, the Korean GPUs have underfills that have a slightly higher softening point. Maybe this could be the reason this console has lasted for so long? I also found this console in a “junk” lot too. If anyone cares about something like this and or is actively researching Korean versus Taiwanese GPUs then feel free to ask me anything about this console.
