Been clearing out the house and found 3x of this same racket brand new

Hi all ,

Been clearing out the house and found 3 of the same racket brand new unused- was wondering how much these go for as they would have my dads before he passed away as he played squash regularly but it’s not something I have any knowledge on. I have been online but can’t seem to find this same exact model unless I’m typing in the wrong thing.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Installing AC home wide for all seasonal purposes

Hi all,

I’ve been thinking of installing ACs across my whole house and using in the winter for heating replacing the use of the radiators.

I know the setup cost is quite costly but I do believe in the long term it will eventually be cost saving and good investment as the summers is only going to hotter and from basic research it tends to be cheaper to operate than using radiators( please correct me if I’m wrong)?

If anyone has done this to their home or any sort of opinion on it please comment as I would love to know the possible pros and cons.

Thanks in advance

Has anyone tried to negotiate to be a higher step within the band on a new job or secondment?

Hi all,

Bit of a weird one. A little background- I am a currently a band 6 developer and have recently been sent and been shortlisted for a secondment job at other trust as a developer but more of the new developing EPR side of it than my current role. I am 2 years into my current band 6 job but the job description for the secondment aligns a lot more with what I can do and like to do from a developer standpoint but I also feel like this should of been a band 7 but obviously can’t control that. I have multiple projects to back up in terms of what I can do.

I am just wondering if anyone has been successful in negotiating when moving to a new role or secondment? Any advice is appreciated thanks in advance.

M/29 - F/23 is this age gap too much ?

Hi all,

I (M/29) met this girl (F/23) in a run club a couple of months ago and we’ve been messaging the last week. I’m turning 30 next month and she turns 24 in December and I want to ask her on a date. However, the age gap freaks me out a bit for some reason and I can’t explain.

I haven’t been in relationship for almost 2 years now and I have went on dates or seen other girls during that time but none of them really compares to her and they were all around the same age as me or below by a max of 2 years.

I would say she is very mature for someone who is 23 as I certainly didn’t have that sense of maturity when I was that age. For me personally ,everything in my head didn’t click till I was turning 26 and what I wanted in life before then is different to what I want now. I didn’t have a career job till I was 26 whereas she graduated and got a degree related job right out the gate as a medical engineer and recently been promoted in April.

I would say we do have a lot of things in common even though of the age gap but the age gap just freaks me out weirdly.

Does anyone have similar relationship age gap that could share their initial thoughts before they started their relationship or if anyone got any advice that will be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance !
