Finally played the game for the first time, 3 days ago. Might be my all time favorite horror game now.
Words cannot properly express how much I’ve come to love this game in such a short amount of time. I know I haven’t seen all the different princesses or all the endings but just from what I’ve seen the game is perfect. The character writing, the atmosphere, the music, the story, the art style, all of it resonates with me in ways only a few other games have been able to do. The story has managed to touch my heart and make me genuinely reflect not only as a person but also on how I want to write my own story.
The character dynamic between the hero and the princess might be my most favorite dynamic in all of the fiction I have consumed. I just love it, I love this game and I regret not having it in my life sooner.
