I’ve only had this Zippo for a few days and it’s my first one. Today it stopped lighting. There’s a brand new flint in it, I’ve purged it and refilled it twice, but no light. When I first unboxed it and set it up, when pushing the thumb plate down, I could hear a hiss sort of like a bic lighter. There is no hiss now, but there absolutely should be fuel in there unless Zippo sent me a bunk can of butane and there’s virtually none in there. I press firmly when refueling, and there is definitely enough spark. I also can’t light it using another lighter while holding the plate down.

So either I’m not actually putting fuel in, or my thumb plate is defective I guess?
