rec room web-port/revival (rec-web)
no clue if this is the right subreddit for this, but ive been planning and making a older continuation of rec room just on web with a couple of friends
we've been planning this for about two months (clueless where to start) but ive finally made a good starting point
currently, we have our servers up and working with all activities running
very buggy in game currently though. i need to fix mouth positioning and shading somehow
do i know why lighting is fucked? nope. but atleast its running.
just give it a few, it'll look better eventually : )
a lot of the code was broken when i originally decompiled it (they did a damn good job at obfuscating it all) so i had to somehow get thru that (majority of those 2 months)
and bam, now its in a very buggy yet playable state
this isnt gonna come out for a while now mostlikely, im really working hard on fixing a lot of bugs and slight crashes this fragile project gets
and for those wondering, the date of this rec room is 2018.
